The British International School of the University of Łódź welcomes students aged 3 to 19 throughout the entire academic year. We follow an open admissions policy. We understand that your move to Łódź may not align with the start of the school year, so we accept applications year-round, subject to place availability and the child meeting our admissions criteria. Each child is placed in a class based on their date of birth and/or previous school record.
Our goal is to make the whole process as simple and transparent as possible. We’re here to support you at every step — from your first message, through document preparation, to your child’s very first day at school.
The admission process begins once the application documents are received by the Admissions Coordinator.

The above documentation should be submitted to the school by post or in person. Scanned copies are also sufficient, however, they must be followed by signed originals.
For kids applying to Year 5 and above also CAT4 exam will be organized.
For children applying to Year 12 (IB Diploma program) additional documents will be required: subject choices, cover letter; also meeting with IB Coordinator will be organized.

During your visit, we’ll show you around the school, including our classrooms, laboratories, and shared spaces. You’ll have the chance to meet our staff, see what daily life at BISUL looks like, and ask all the questions that matter to you — from curriculum and student support to the details of the admissions process.
We believe the atmosphere of a school is something you truly feel only when you’re there. That’s why we warmly invite the whole family — including the children themselves, who are at the heart of every visit.
If you’re currently abroad, we also offer virtual open days, during which you can ask us anything you’d like to know. We run these meetings calmly and without rush — as if we were walking through the school together.
